Distressed denim was just not my thing until I saw the frayed hem cropped jeans last summer. Then, a pair of my beloved Always Skinny jeans popped up in my size, at a ridiculous price, and I jumped on them so fast I didn't realize they were distressed. I wore them the very next day. Maybe because they are a lighter denim and the shredding is minimal it doesn't seem uncomfortable to me.
