What I can say though is that you should avoid jeans, lest it become like 2 of the 3 pieces needed to make a 3 piece denim suit. If the jacket stops at the waist, I wouldn't wear it with anything longer than the jacket. Would you be comfortable weanig it with dark rinsed trouser style jeans and a colorful knit top or blouse with the collar outside the jacket?
