One is that yes, floor-length skirts are hard to pull off at any height. The other is that you might be able to hem the skirt from the top rather than the bottom. </p> <p>What length were you thinking? I was planning to wear it with a fitted white tank (untucked) to emphasize waistline - but a friend said it's a bad length for me as I'm short (and not stick thin). I do have access to a good seamstress but the skirt will look weird shortened as it's an ethnic Indian one.
