I've seen muffin tops on the skinniest of women! No one is safe from them! Luckily, higher wasted pants are coming back. But you probably don't need to (or want to) go too high. I find a "just below" cut works best. There are slimming qualities to the lower rise pants. You just have to find the rise that won't give you muffin tops, but still flatter your abdomen.

This is not an uncommon problem. You need to buy higher waist jeans and pants and stick to woven tops layered with longer length camisoles. Read these blog entries for more info:

Skirts and dresses are another good solution. Will you wear them?

I am wondering what type of clothes I should wear to look my best. I am a stay at home mom of 3 kids. I have a major problem with my middle section. I have small breasts so I have trouble wearing v-necks or anything even slightly low cut. My stomache is very bulgy. When I wear jeans under the waist it kind of bulges out and above it. I tried larger pants and I even tried the corset things and that just looks horrible. I don't have much money at all so I rarely buy new clothes. Please help me. I want to look my best and feel better about myself.
