Louise, you ROCK. Vani, you are fab.

Jennell, I have just come back from tank shopping with a client. Can you believe it! "James Perse" gets my vote for best quality tank top this year. But these are tanks you wear on their own to, they are NOT just under garments.

I live in Florida too and LOVE the tanks Angie blogged about here: http://youlookfab.com/2009/07/.....ffle-tank/

They are not available in store or online anymore but I hope it gives you a general idea. Also knits generally do not last too long without pilling, stretching etc. anyway. Sweet Pea tops are perfect too: http://www.smartbargains.com/g.....rch.dept-9..prod.16

Also something cute like this: http://www.anntaylorloft.com/c.....pe=Regular

Jennell to link to another page
1) Find an example of the item you are thinking of

2)Left button click your mouse on the bar at the top of your page with the page address in. This should highlight it

3)While it is highlighted keep the mouse cursor in the bar and right click, a menu should pop up click copy

4) return to you ylf post, right click where you want to insert the link and click paste

5) when you submit the post people reading the post can click on the copied link and be directed straight to the page you want to show x

Not sure I know how to "link" :(
I'll try to describe. Sleeveless top- shoulder "straps" that are wide enough to cover bra straps. Sometimes square neck, sometimes v necked or rounded. I wear them with skirts during the hot weather and add a scarf and sweater when it becomes cooler. The thin cotton "tank tops" I have bought are ok if I layer, but they don't look good on their own.
Did this help??

Hi Jennel!

By tank top, you mean a sleeveless top with a built-up shoulder, right - not strappy. Don’t mean to get caught up in the details, but I’ve found that tank tops mean different things to different people! Perhaps you could link to what you understand as a tank top?

Living in Florida I wear tank tops often. I wear them as layering pieces as well as" on their own". Could you suggest a high quaility tank that I could buy online. So far the ones I've found do not last long, and the straps are to thin.....
Thanks for your help,
