I would add Danier to the list for leather jackets and coats. Of the stores on Angie's list, I like Dynamite, Le Chateau (but I hear they have poor customer service and return policy), and Jacob. I like to hit up Zara (on Robson street) because there isn't one in my home city. Some of Zara's clothes are out of my price range, but I have also found great deals on blouses or basics there. I also like to check out the Pacific Centre Shopping Mall downtown because I like the mixture of stores. There's also a great thrift/consignment shop downtown that carries very fun vintage pieces.
