The chinos were bought with my BR reward points and cost me about $1. The skirt was final sale and was about half off. And then I bought a $3 belt at Goodwill. So I'm not doing too bad.</p> <p>I should say that I also ordered&nbsp;a pair of penny loafers, which might be pushing the HEWI designation. However, I just noticed today that my go-to shoes (OK, comfort shoes)&nbsp;are getting worn out—the insole peeled off when I took my foot out.&nbsp;Yikes. Busted. I did some last-minute NAS and also my leather skirt and such locally. <br />OTOH, I really like what I got, and&nbsp;much more of a &nbsp;theme or focus seemed to be emerging that galvanized me to just go ahead and do a wardrobe review, and toss out quite a few items, mostly pre YLF, &nbsp;but some&nbsp;"misses" from the past couple of years as well. This was rather unexpecte, &nbsp;since it was not "time" (I usually feel inspired more around Labor Day). &nbsp;I think my wardrobe is actually shrinking for the first time and my understanding of what works, and doesn't,&nbsp; is improving. </p> <p>Not sure if I will be on full Spartan September, but I'm excited about using what I have and being very picky about having any new items really earn their keep in specific ways. The plaid actually matches up in the front, and the inside and elbow patches have a complementing gingham.
