Both outfits are great! I love the bright cycling jersey. Each outfit seems, to me, to harmonize with the activity: Cycling = bright, fast; Hiking = natural, subtle.

Fab cycling gear, love the colour. Your hiking outfit is lovely, wonderful pairing of the shirt and scarf with your glasses. The rolled up sleeves look good.

LOVE #1 for a take on the piece, totally fitting. Great color, too ^^ Hiking look is super, good call on the sleeve roll; the few button-up shirts I have left all get this treatment these days.

The cycling gear is such a bright and happy color. Probably that way for safety, but so cool!

I used to like frozen grapes but now use frozen blueberries as the grapes are higher in carbs. You look fabulous and fit. On tee shirts you can do an easy sleeve hack job, slanted sleeve or sleeveless. If a tee is a little more fitted than you'd like, hack off the bottom and neck ribbing too

These look great Carla - the cycling gear for the win though as it is the right colour and perfect for the sporting theme. Although I very much like your hiking outfit.

Thanks for joining in!!

This was probably the most challenging work of art to work into an outfit. I had to think outside the box, maybe a sporting theme/sports kit is appropriate?

#1 what I wore for a 30k ride this morning. The orange cycling jersey is the official souvenir jersey from the triathlon I did in the Netherlands last fall.

#2 for easy afternoon urban hike with DH, 5+ YO Land's End shirt that is a bit of an orphan. Sleeves that button below the elbow make it a puffed sleeve and a little prissy-more office than retirement. I rolled up the sleeves (never did before!) and felt more casual. Green scarf to keep the collar popped and the sun off my neck.

#3 close-up to show the pattern of the shirt. Maybe my hair colour counts as orange?

#4 'Halftime-oranges' by Dick Frizzell

#5 when it is really hot I like to snack on frozen grapes.

Thanks for looking!
