I often have trouble finding tops with sleeves that are long enough. I just got the sleeves on a trench coat lengthened and you can do that on various kinds of jackets if there is enough hem on the sleeves. Another option is to go with 3/4 length tops and sweaters if that keeps you warm enough in the winter. I've been wearing button-front shirts with a cardigan and rolling the sleeves up a bit to mid-way between my wrist and elbow.

I'm pretty new here, so I don't know if this has already been discussed in another thread, but what about the possibility of getting some clothes made up for you? Does anyone here do that?

Earlier this year I went to Vietnam and apart from being a great learning experience (it was part of my uni degree), I got some truly fabulous stuff made by the tailors there. Even my doubting bf was convinced to get a few suits he has since fallen in love with, and can't wait to go back and get more!

I take it this is really only a problem in winter, right? My only suggestions would be arm warmers and long gloves.

When you're indoors, perhaps wearing a stack of bracelets or a large cuff might help?

My greatest difficulty in buying clothes is my arms. They are ridiculously long, from my spine to my wrist is 36". Handy when I need to reach high shelves, but a nuisance the rest of the time. Even shirts in tall sizes are several inches too short, leaving my skinny wrists bare to the world, not an attractive look. I've considered moving to a warm locale where I wouldn't need so many long sleeve shirts, sweaters, coats, etc. Since that isn't feasible at the moment, does anyone have any suggestions for coping in the meantime?
