My 13 month old Beagle (who is still a pup and just refuses to grow up) is completely un-trainable!!!! She's so willful, hyper-active and so stubborn, I'd rather Train a wall than teach her a command!!! She's ridiculously cute though....</p> <p>Our 8.5year old German Shephard is a doll. There was a woodsman in the show, dressed like Robin Hood and he had a Cardigan Welsh corgi (just like Arlo) on stage with him, also dressed like Robin Hood. He is a Cardigan Welsh Corgi and is the blue merle color. He is also my service dog. He was born on 8/17/2015 and at 17 months&nbsp;is still&nbsp; a pup and is still learning his job, but he is doing really, really well. </p> <p>There are two breeds of Corgis, the Pembroke and the Cardigan. The Pembroke has no tail, as spitz shaped head and smaller ears. The Queen has Pembroke's (mostly). The Cardigan, which Arlo is, is larger, has a Shepherd shaped head, and larger ears. The Cardigan is the older of the two breeds. Both are cattle dogs.</p> <p>I had a Pembroke as a child and when I lost my standard poodle,&nbsp;Gaea, in April 2015 I decided&nbsp;to get the Cardigan because they are more low key than the Pembroke. my standard poodle, Zeus, was my service dog and I lost him in Dec. 2015 so Arlo went into training at 6 months to take his place. Because Corgis are working dogs and like to please and have a job, they are very trainable. They are also comedians with very distinct personalities.</p> <p>Here is a vlog I found showcasing a Pembroke Welsh corgi.
