I wasn’t sure about this lighter color palette, but when I look at my closet, it becomes clear that my only light-colored winter tops are plain solid white or light grey, and not even much of that anymore. So even though it’s not strictly speaking a need or a hole, this does seem to add a little something my wardrobe doesn’t currently have, while still being true to my style and my life. </p> <p>I did pull out some scarves tonight to see how they look with the sweater. It’s a lovely , soft sweater but it’s SO pale on me and has no “ oomph” factor , which I think I need . The black coloreay “ should” be more your coloring but with this much contrast, the different take on argyle size is just too big a pattern, IMO, for your features, and looks a bit weird.<br /> So, the argyle pattern is more lost in the lighter one, but perhaps really works as a version of “ nearly white” which is softer and more interesting than a plain true white. This sweater is like a more modern, more flattering version. I’m kind of glad this one worked better so I have another lighter-colored knitwear option that isn’t a tee or hoodie.</p> <p>The smell is downright weird.
