Two of them were my boyfriend's, I bragged to him about my sweater washing skills and talked him into letting me clean them vs. bringing them to the dry cleaner. But because there were jeans and poly-cotton work aprons on top of the pile, I forgot about the sweaters in the pile. Needless to say I did not wash and dry the load on delicate. His sweaters are now tight and short, but he is such a sweetie, he said, "it's OK, now you can see my belts when I wear them."</p> <p>Isn't he the best? They still fit, but they are fading fast. </p> <p>My husband has shrunk several of my sweaters beyond recognition by tossing them into the dryer. I have one shrunken sweater that is now way more shrunken than it was every meant to be. If, you know, the eleven-year-old has an office job with a fairly strict dress code.</p> <p>*headdesk*</p> <p>The only saving grace in the whole situation is that as a result of a previous shopping malfunction, I have an identical pair of black pants in reserve. So another trip to the tailor and I'll be good to go.</p> <p>But... argh.</p> <p>Please, ladies. Tell me I'm not the only one who does stuff like this!! </p>
