My tolerance for crowded stores has decreased tremendously with age. I'm not shopping the sales, but I did use my gift card present from my husband yesterday, the first day the store was open after the holiday. We woke up early on Sunday morning and hit the road for some shopping at a nearby outlet mall before the snow started. It was actually a very nice shopping experience. The stores were pretty much deserted, the selection was excellent and the prices were really discounted. Pretty much everything at Banana Republic was 60% off so I got a denim skirt for $11.50 and two wool sweaters for $13 each.
