We have had rotating teacher's strikes for the past three weeks, and just yesterday they voted for&nbsp;a full-scale strike starting next week -- the cacky, as they say, has hit the fan. Anyone with school-aged children has been&nbsp;doing some scrambling yesterday today. And since Friday (tomorrow) was the rotating strike day for our district, today is in fact the last day of the year for our kids. The only exception were thick snow pants worn under skirts when outside in frigid weather. BTW, we were never allowed to cross our legs. It was feet flat on the floor at all times (public school).
