I am too, although I've pretty much always enjoyed fashion -- but there have certainly been&nbsp;times when I've enjoyed it more than others.&nbsp;I was a housewife for ten years, so I can relate to what you say about wearing yoga pants a lot. I was particularly guilty of that in year-long period following the birth of each child, before I got back to (more or less)&nbsp;my pre-pregancy size. And that's just the thing. During pregnancy, and for a good solid year (or more)&nbsp;afterward,&nbsp;you don't fit your "normal" clothes (at least&nbsp;I sure as hell didn't), but the world doesn't take a fashion break with you. Styles move on.&nbsp;Plus, even if you get back to roughly your pre-pregnancy size, things might have shifted (my midsection will never quite be the same!). So I was kind of forced into a new wardrobe with each child. I only have two, and they are spaced apart by four years, so it was two trips through ballooning body and back, replacing my wardrobe bit by bit&nbsp;as I went&nbsp;-- two full cycles, because I was warned that if you don't get all the way back before your second pregnancy, it's next to impossible to do so! &nbsp;</p> <p>But there's definitely something to what they say about "dressing for the body you have now". Even during pregnancy, when I felt my worst, body-shape-wise, it still felt good to work with it, and to find clothes that looked cute. Plus, there's always an upside. For a long time before YLF (when my children were little) dressing was stressful and shopping was haphazard. I had lots of clothes but nothing to wear. Its a constant struggle. I went shoe shopping yesterday and ended up with a Gizeh style slipper, but it was in a fun pattern. I have flat feet so I thought this will be a great addition and hopefully no knee, shin and calf pain at the end of the day. In summary, yes, I guess you can say I am having fun. Still trying to maintain budget and practicality but look Fab while doing so. An important lesson I learned here was to dress for the weight you are at now (although that can get expensive). Have fun with fashion at my current weight?&nbsp; After studying Angie’s posts and your WIW’s, I tiptoed into the fashion world.</p> <p>I have made several mistakes (often costly), but I can honestly say that I am having fun!&nbsp; So, thank you Angie and you fab ladies for giving me a very fun hobby that not only elevates my confidence, but makes me feel connected to the outside world.</p> <p>Have any of you had a similar journey?&nbsp; Are you having fun yet?</p>
