This is mostly because they are flattering to my short waist and large bust and they are usually constructed in stretch knits that work with my curves.</p> <p>All of that being said, I do make sure I always wear a cami under my wrap dresses because the "V" in the bust can be too low for my "clientele" (ha! if the kids only knew I referred to them in that way). I also make sure the knit fabrics do not cling - I've walked away from more than one wrap dress because I felt it was too sexy for my work environment. I don't have to worry about sexy footwear - I have to wear a decent pump-type shoe so I can run on a moment's notice.</p> <p>A wrap dress can be flattering and work appropriate all at the same time. It is all in the way you put it together. I read Corporette and they are definitely *very* conservative - but appropriately so for most of the women in the fields that require much more conservative dressing: law and finance mostly.
