I didn't see this detail myself before looking at these pics.<br />However I will try <b>Tulle</b>'s solution first, I agree that sometimes the cuffs provide visual balance.<br /><b>Firecracker</b>, I'm so happy you feel the bada*** vibe in the first pic, because it's exactly with this in mind that I imagined this outfit. Although I would usually think like <b>Unfrumped</b> and let the floral take center stage, I wanted to do something less conservative. I do own a long silk shirt in black, and will try it on with these though, because now, <b>Unfrumped</b>,I can't unsee what you meant lol!&nbsp;<br /><b>Suz</b> and <b>Gigi</b>: either way, they will get us! I am already very much feeling the gap with new and old pieces. Actually these floral jeans had been stored away in a previous manic purge precisely because lots of winter tops were too short for them. But I noticed the cropped tops seem to concern mainly items that are close to the skin. Looser tops tend to be much longer and a little Boho.
