Well, they don't say "sexy," that's for sure. But they'd probably be fine for those times when you just need a good, practical shoe to cruise around in.

I would hold off. Perhaps you will find something that you feel comfortable in and don't question the frump factor by the time you will need to wear them regularly.

I like them, Glory, but I'd agree that you might want to wait until winter passes. I have a pair of Lifestride patent flats that are similar. I love them, although they're pretty simple. I had to stop myself from getting more flats before winter, too. Even though I'm holding off on boots as long as possible!

I'm on the fence, if I think of what they might look like on me.
I would have to avoid wearing them with just trousers or typical black pants--would need the rest of the outfit to step up a bit. I think it's because of the toe + wedge + the rim trim.
However, as my feet change and it gets harder to find comfortable shoes, I am likely to adjust my "eye" !

I think they're cute. I'm with Angie, though, especially since they're not on sale right now.

All depends on how you wear them. Retro '90s fabness if styled with care.

Glory, may I suggest waiting till Spring. You shan't be wearing these till then anyway - since you have a Canadian Winter to get through. Who knows what you will feel like wearing then.

everyone has a different idea of frumpy. to me it is dated, old lady, or just sometimes a style that has been around for so long it looks tired. These do not fit into any of those categories, so not frumpy--they look current and comfy to me.

I think the croc patent finish makes them kind of fun. I'm not sure I'm the best judge of frumpy though.

They don't immediately make me think frumpy and I like the texture. I agree with Shevia that it really depends on what you wear them with.

Thanks Shevia
I do not have rounded square toes. I was looking at these to wear mostly with jeans, perhaps a casual skirt/dress if the need arose.

I have my eye on these shoes which are quite comfortable. What do you think?
