That means I totally wasted my coupon. They ARE comfy...but my money would be better spent on something that really fits my needs right now. Shiny - I am not really a converse girl. They look ok on other gals, but I personally don't find it my style. Thanks for the other ideas...with the exception of the coach pair, the rest are cut like flats, and I need something that comes up higher so I can wear socks when it's cold, but don't want to wear boots. They all look like gear to me. I agree that I think converse is the true fashion sneaker. Have you tries a maryjane style comfort shoe. That is what I try to do with skirts. Can you wear them? Otherwise, I personally think the skechers have the most potential to be fashion sneakers, but I would get them in a funky color and not boring beige. I think they have similar style to that with the laces in lime green, orange, etc? Something fun! I do know the Merrill's are ultra comfy though... I have a pair myself.
