I had tried them on so I knew what the style was without looking at the link! I actually like them better than the ones you originally linked, which are pretty but boring IMO. The Kireis are much more interesting and funky. I think the toe shape is super cute too. I'd treat them like ballet flats in terms of styling personally. I dont know what your style is like but they would go with my arty style much better than the first pair. To Rachy's point, though, I think all my shoes are "hipster shoes". They do look decent under pants...just having a HARD time accepting the velcro strap, but this is the first time in several months my feet werent *hurting*... I DO want to try replacing w/a buckle or something, down the road, but that'll be after/if I get my swelling under control You made me feel much better Naot is coming out with some cute booties this Fall- I saw a pair I'd really like to get, but I was REALLY pushing the financial limit when I got these and the slightly fancier(IMO, w/pretty stitching across the foot and strap) but very similar shaped gunmetal gray Ziera shoes. Interested to watch you and see if you find a solution.</p> <p>I think these are a great combination of need, function and style. The sole is a tiny bit gearish but necessary I imagine. I really like the vibe of them under jeans or pants, they would look very similar to ballet flats. They are a million times better than runners!</p> <p>You're going to try them with crops and skirts I hope as you never know.</p> <p>I think they're a really cute shoe for a person with issues.
