I once tried on a pair of boots with a 18-3/4-inch calf and they were absolutely enormous on me. I could get my whole hand in between the boot and my leg and didn't have to unzip them to get them off. You have a practiced eye, though. Did you have an estimate based on pics you've seen?<br /> I know of Duo and have heard nothing but raves about them. They're crazy expensive once you do conversions to Canadian dollars + delivery charges, so I'm investigating other options first. Ideally I'd like to have two pairs of boots, one burgundy or similar and one black. I'm sort of thinking lower-heeled burgundy ones for every day and higher-heeled black ones to dress certain outfits up, but I would welcome your thoughts on this. I have a client who was successfully sorted at duo boots with an 18.5 inch calf. She was deliriously happy with her purchase and wore her new boots all Autumn and Winter long.
