I'm thinking a suede bag could work for spring in the right color, but maybe not in the extreme heat of summer. The bag I'm looking at is a very slouchy hobo in a burnt orange color. It's not exactly a bright color so it may not be the best for spring.</p> <p>Claudia, thanks for the link to the brightly colored suede sandals. I never would have considered suede for summer! Your point about suede adding texture to outfits is a good one. It seems too "cozy" for lack of a better word. I don't care as much for leather handbags in summer either, if it comes to that. Suede has kind of a Western vibe to me, so I feel like it fits right in with summer items if you have any kind of rugged element to your style.
