That dress is cut like a sundress on top so it's a one-season dress unless you put a top over and pretend it's a skirt, and even then that patch pocket will show.</p> <p>Whereas that skirt is trans-seasonal--picture it with a white button-front shirt, with sleeves rolled up; or with a dressy grey Tshirt cut top; or with a fisherman sweater and boots. Also the skirt seems like it would fit better into your professional capsule.</p> <p>But really I'm just saying all this because I love the poofiness of that skirt.
