In fact, around here they are everywhere. I see no sign of them going out yet. OTOH, I wear them myself because they are so good for walking (or at least, I find them to be so). They still look cool to me. My favourite ones are a pair of Red Or Dead white ankle strap sandals with cool lugged soles.
