Thread is almost always polyester, which will not dye easily- it takes a different chemical formula and very high heat versus cotton dye. For bad stains I make a paste of the powder and apply it to the stain and let it set. Then soak the whole pair overnight in a solution of the OxiClean and tepid water, machine wash with the solution. I often add some Tide with bleach to the wash. I'm not seeing the bright or light colors in jeans so much -- those are looking a little more dated to me.&nbsp;</p> <p>I have the dark burgundy Dre jeans from Rag &amp; Bone from last year, and they offered them again this year (a popular choice at NAS), so that color sure seems to be going strong. I have an older pair of very dark green coated jeans that I still intend to wear this winter.&nbsp; </p> <p></p> <p>Sorry about the stained favorite white jeans.
