I am an hourglass with soft, rounded shoulders and&nbsp;a generous hip and thigh. Balance is one of my own personal priorities in dressing,&nbsp;but it is certainly not everyone's goal. I find that I can achieve balance by use of color but also by wearing a topper with a more structured shoulder. Blazers do not have to be your only option. As Golden suggests, jean jackets can give this balance. I also find that this fall's&nbsp;sweater coats/jackets, esp. the ones that&nbsp;have a tiny bit of shoulder padding or shoulder definition,&nbsp;work well for me.
