My black Hobart Eccos from last year have been 8 hour shoes. Last year the straps were spaced along the leg. These look more like riding boots and the ankle straps can be adjusted so the ankle fits just right too.<br /> They run big on me and I needed a 37 instead of a 38 (usually wear size 7.5-8 med.) I'm glad they are getting positive comments but you need to get boots that you love. If the Eccos don't excite you anymore than your Bandolinos then I'd say hold out and wait for something that does.
