I want to do two things in April: first, not buy anything new, and second, wear only black and white and denim. Like you, I am interested to see how I feel with limited *thing* in my life. In my case, this is color. I have already resolved to not buy anything colorful for the rest of the year. And I want to wear my jeans more.</p> <p>This is absolutely related to my recent week in New York City, where I felt that the most stylish and chic people I saw on the street were only wearing black and white and denim, and occasionally camel or tan. And I am still struggling with shopping. So I was thinking that maybe a challenge will help with both. I am planning to dress without solid navy items for the whole month of April. Patterned navy and dark wash denim is still OK. Of course, if I feel like wearing navy or if I would not have other choice, I will wear it, but that will be also useful answer. I want to see if I would miss it or if I would feel relived that I don't have to wear it. Sometimes I force myself to wear something because I feel wasteful if I don't wear perfectly good items. But this will be my permission not to wear it if I don't feel like it. And I also hope that challenge will help me identify my biggest wardrobe holes. If it happens that I have to wear navy even if I don't feel like it, I would hopefully know what I would rather wear instead. So some shopping should also happen during the April. <br /> Anyone else interested in participating? It does not have to be navy, but do you maybe have something that you are not sure about it and would like to see if you can dress without it? Like month without jeans or without t-shirts or whatever you struggle with? Would you be interested to see, and would it be too much if I post daily for a month? Last time I did challenge daily posting kept me motivated and accountable but I don’t want to be forum hog. </p>
