But I agree with you Maya, NYC would be way more fun. Looking at Medusa's schedule, the weekend of 3/5 would be the best for me as I'm definitely busy on 1/23 and may be available on 2/6 but have a late night program on 2/5 to attend which would make it a little tough (I'm assuming we are looking at Saturdays???). Maybe even colder. January is always the coldest month in NYC. Usually by February temps creep above freezing. In fact, this week it will be in the upper 30's and even 40's (yes, that's warm to me). By March I can retire my puffer permanently and live exclusively in my wool coats. As I said, this doesn't have to happen right away. Sorry, but between CT and NYC...I think NYC wins I can think of a million things to do and places to go! Next time you are in NJ let me know and I'll see if we can make it to Short Hills.</p> <p>I live in the suburbs too and I have found that being in the suburbs actually feels colder, even at the same temperatures. When I start my commute in NJ, using a car and a train, it feels cold because I am stationary. Once I get moving in NY, I warm up quite a bit. I also tend to walk extremely fast though. If I'm walking with other people, I usually have to slow down my pace.</p> <p>I hope you are able to join us Debora! Would CT work? I know that Bella is here and April says that she comes up regularly. You could catch Metro North. I don't know where we could go though. I love crusing through downtown Westport but it's way too cold these days. One of the museums had a Judith Leiber exhibit last year which would have been fun (and fashion-related) but I'm sure that's long gone now. NYC would be way more fun but also cccccold these days (which I'm sure you're used to but I'm a suburban wimp who drives everywhere).
