They might be ones to try. I don't have many other suggestions since this is the exact opposite of my fitting problem (waists are always too loose on me if the hip fits).</p> <p>I don't know what size you are, but if you veer into plus sizes, Lane bryant used to have three different cuts of jeans, and one was for the apple shape where the hips are smaller than the tummy. Pants and jeans are so hard to fit sometimes. There are certain brands that fit me really well and I stick to these. Maybe this would work for you, also. Try doing a&nbsp;pant/jean&nbsp;fitting outing just to see how different brands and styles fit your body. She pointed out that what I needed, as an apple, was to have the jeans go straight down from the waist.</p> <p>What I mean is: If you hold up the jeans, waistband done up, the fabric shouldn't curve out on either side. Here's a pic of a pair from Gap that are a pull-on style and girdle my middle for extra support and smoothing. If there's not enough room in the waist to size down then look try on other brands. It took me a while to find skinnies that stayed skinny once I got the waist fit suitable. Currently I've found a cut from Target of all places.
