I can't tell you how many times I tried this over the years and it has never quite looked like this. The tone on tone red with the wide obi belt over my not so tiny waist and belly help keep the illusion alive </p> <p><b>Echo</b> - Red had been a color I avoided. I think it was because I could not find my shade of red. Reds with blue undertones work best for me. I am also most comfortable in darker reds. </p> <p><b>Rachylou</b> - I picked this belt up from ASOS 4 or 5 years ago. I did not think it would have so much longevity in my wardrobe considering I chose red over black or cognac. This is what I do when I want to pretend that my bottom half is equal to the top. <br />Notice how the line of demarcation is where this trumpet skirt begins to flare out. <br />This is the first time I've worn these two pieces together. I enjoyed wearing it for Valentine's Day. I'll have to do it again. </p>
