Thanks for the update! I'm SO glad to hear it worked out. I haven't beena ble to wear mine yet as it's still too hot (or I'M still too hot or something!) But happy to know it'll survive cleaning

Sylvie - Glad you're keeping it! I'm looking forward to wearing it again, when our temps are below 85. Not complaining - I'll take every bit of Portland summer I can get - but I am looking forward to my leather jacket and boots that are waiting to come out!

Thanks for coming back to let us know Nadya. I finally decided I was going to keep mine (it is STUNNING underneath my new leather jacket). I will be ripping off the tags and wearing it tomorrow, so I'm glad to learn the proper washing/drying procedure.

See my edit above - it did work putting it on air fluff (no heat). Yea! Have you had luck with yours, Sara?

It didn't soften up when dry? That's always been my experience with rayons, can I think the one pair of Tencel capris I used to have did that also.

If it dried stiff, did you try the dryer like KL suggested?

I'm staying tuned because I got one of those in the black and really look forward to wearing it . . .

Perhaps try tossing it in the dryer for a few minutes on air fluff? I don't have any personal experience with tencel fabrics, though.

I washed the my Foxcroft Tencel "denim" shirt from NAS as directed - in cold water and hung to dry. Instead of the lovely soft drapey fabric, I have stiff fabric. Any ideas how to fix this? I wash a lot of clothes this way, and this is the first time I've had this happen. Thanks!

ETA: Sorry for the delay - I've been on vacation. I through it the dryer on air fluff (no heat) for 10 minutes and that did the trick. Schwoo! Thanks for your help.
