I kind of wish I had bought it one size smaller, because it tends to stretch out as cotton will. I machine washed it in a lingerie bag and air dried it and it looks great. The fabric composition is 53% cotton and 47% nylon. Usually I have good luck with items holding up when they are more than 1/2 cotton, but this is pretty close to the line Wondering if anyone knows how this fabric holds up to the wash?</p> <p>Of course Gap has none of the pieces I am interested in in their store, so I can't even have a look to see what I think *thumbs down*</p> <p>Thank you! :)</p> <p>PS - If anyone has other suggestions for where to look for non-neutral, cotton rich, decently priced (around or under $100 is ideal although perhaps no longer that realistic *sigh*) sweaters in modern silhouettes, I will take that too - a bit of a unicorn it would seem! xx </p>
