I contacted customer service at Saks and they told me to go with the large because that particular items runs small, so that's what I'm going to do. It'll probably fit my shoulders at least, and if it's too big in other places, I'll have it taken in. I used to go for sizes that fit my torso, and just dealt with tight shoulders, but I started to get tired of not being able to lift my arms over my head, hee hee. If you think it's perfect, I think it might be worth it to get both sizes. Even if someone here has an idea of what the sizing is like, sometimes things vary based on style. I'd hate for you to order the wrong size and then find out that the size you really need is sold out. I guess it depends how much you would regret missing out on it, and it sounds like you would regret it a lot. I could wear it with dresses, skirts, or I could layer it over a longer top and wear it with jeans. It even has elbow length sleeves, which are my favorite! I *could* order both, but then I'd be tapped out until I got the jackets and could return one, and then have the money credited back.
