I wear a PS in Coldwater Creek sizing, but a PM in other stores such as J.C. Penney and Kohl's. That said, I can tell you that most of their tops are shapeless and do run big. I only buy the few and far between tops they sell that are actually fitted and skim my figure. In dresses, I wear a size 8P, but sometimes a 6P, depending on fit. This is true of J.C. Penney as well.

I can sometimes wear a regular size S top in Coldwater Creek; it all depends on how the top is cut and how long it is. It's tricky.

I have never been able to find Coldwater Creek jackets/blazers or pants that fit me. Skirts are easy: always a PS.

Keep in mind, however, that Coldwater Creek has recently changed their sizing. I haven't ordered from them since they did that, as I'm no longer sure their clothing will fit me. I've always been annoyingly between a size 6 and a size 8. When retailers offer size 4-6 as small and size 8-10 as medium, I'm stuck and don't order from them. The size 4-6 is almost always too small, while the size 8-10 is too big.

For me, it's all about finding clothing to fit me in bust and hips without hiding my small waist. Boxy tops are out, which is mostly what Coldwater Creek sells. In general, Coldwater Creek clothing is not cut for my body type.

Hope this helps.

Hmm, the top does not come in XSP, so It is either XS or nothing. Basically it is a tee cut in silk, but it does have some waist definition, which makes me hesitate for sizing reasons.

I luv vanity sizing. Truly, it's my best friend! I'm a size 12, and, when I shop at my CC outlet, I'm as likely to wear a medium as a large. I agree that they tend to be cut more generously in the waist, a little less generous in the bum and shoulder. Hope it works for you!

Yeah, they do run big. The XS is about a size 6, the PXS is probably about a 4 in most other store sizing.

You might be swimming in it Tanya. They do run very large through the torso in general. I usually can't wear their clothes, but their cut might work for a boxy blouse.

I'm around the size as you and definitely found Coldwater Creek to run large. Can you try their PXS? I think of their XS as equal to an S, i.e. 4-6.

I have never shopped there, and I would guess that, if they are like J Jill and similar companies, they run large. There is an awesome simple blousy silk top there that I am contemplating. It does not need to be fitted, just drape nicely, but I also do not want to swim in it. I was wondering if their XS(4) might fit me. I normally wear a 0/2 in woven tops in brands like Banana Republic/ J Crew.
