My SO and I will be marching in his sister's wedding and I still haven't decided on what to wear. Hers isn't the only wedding of the summer, so any potential gown purchased could be worn again. As of now, I don't own any gowns, and usually prefer to default to a simple suit (no fuss) or dress like the one pictured. </p> <p>What I'm looking for in a gown is something sophisticated with a twist that can withstand the trends for a few years. Something structured that doesn't reveal too much skin, and can flatter a figure with saddlebags. </p> <p>The few dresses I've seen that appeal to me are way out of my budget, while the affordable ones that I see are just too slinky, chiffony or lacey--like MOTB or bridesmaid. AP, Tadashi, etc. aren't just my style. Is it just me or is this simply not a great year for sophisticated classic looks? Where do you go for structured elegant dresses? </p>
