Not great for slouchy pant worn on hip trend. I do agree that the tight pant trend is getting boring. I want a little slouch lately even in a slim or "skinny" jean. I want to see wide legs, bootcuts and straight legs all over the place and not leggings/jeggings/skinnies alone. I had a short black cardigan that looked adorable with them. But! My body was very different then, and I had a 25 inch defined waist (not to mention I weighed quite a bit less and wore a much smaller bra cup.) Without that defined waist, I don't know how I could get the proportions to look nice. I do love the look on some but find it terribly unflattering on my body-type. I have a straight figure and my waist is not much smaller than my hips from the front, which when wearing slouchy trousers, makes me look larger in the middle than I would like. </p> <p>I see some students wear them and do not like the look if it is unflattering to their body-type.</p> <p>I am not opposed to voluminous clothing and wear it all the time but where the volume is on my body makes all the difference. Rght at the waist is not a great place for me which is why I do not like belts right at the waist but prefer a hip-slung style.</p> <p>Hopefully, sitting out this trend will not diminish my style quotient, because that is what I plan to do on this one. </p>
