The lightest earth tones -- ecru, sage and terra-cotta -- are all catching my eye. I think, when life was more public, these colours felt too soft and vulnerable to be my daily armour. But they are great "domestic" colours -- and in fact they do jive much better with my home's palette than my usual (black/navy/charcoal) choices do. Most years, I get very excited about bright reds this time of year, but they feel a little off against warm earthy neutrals (I know some people wear red and gold/tan brilliantly, but it feels a bit too much to me). She says the quality is good (and I trust her on quality). Their site is organized by color, and if you’ve “had your colors done”, you can shop by season. I know I’m a summer, but I haven’t looked at those charts in a couple decades. I was surprised to see the shade of pink I’ve been slowly adding is right there, front and center of the summer section. It’s called ice pink. They mostly have solids, but some print accessories, tops and dresses too.
