Usually on Sundays we lead only the 11 o'clock service, singing the congregational music and a choir special. For Easter we lead an additional 7:30 service, as well as the 9 and 11, and sing two specials along with the congregational. I do enjoy it! But it's an early morning, and I did sing two full Tenebrae (Good Friday) services barely a day and a half before this. The shoes are new, though. And --look!-- I actually wore hose with it, because it was below freezing in the morning.</p> <p>The shoes were all that showed under my choir robe at church. I did put on a bright scarf as a hair bow. </p> <p>Two of the (non choir) ladies wore gorgeous wide brimmed hats and there was also a fascinator. I passed along a purple lightweight coat I only wore once (the purple was too bright for me) that I hope got worn by someone for the holiday.</p> <p>I will choose something good for tomorrow night, however, when Mr. A and I are spending the night in NYC for my 60th. We will have dinner at Eleven Madison Park, enjoying their entirely plant-based cuisine and stay at a fancy-shmantzy hotel nearby.&nbsp; </p>
