Dont know anything about the brand or fit, but I love the look of these. In relation to buying out of season, I am all for it. Particularly if you are comfortable and consistent in your style preferences. If you are confident your preferences are not going to change (much) then I say buy them and have them ready for when you want them. I have bought (lets say) a few dresses recently that will be best suited to the warmer weather. I figure I know what I like so I buy it when I see it, budget permitting.

Could you wear nude hose with them in Autumn when it's still a bit cool?

Ooooh Jenava - could I trouble you to provide me with length of your foot measurement? This would give me an idea of whether they would be too long on me.

Suz - I actually like the look of peep toes with tights in the same color and wouldn't wear them outside once the cold weather arrived. They'd be great to keep at the office though for when I take off my winter boots. Crazy to even mention snow right now isn't it?

Shevia - glad to know your Anyi Lu's are so comfy.

They look great and I think buying now can be fine, depending on how fast your tastes change. My tastes don't change that much in just a few months so I can buy in the summer for the fall and still like what I bought.

I have these in taupe! I think mine are a 37 (I'm size 7, but my foot is a tiny bit shorter than Angie's). I LOVE mine. They are super comfy, as are all Anyi Lu, IMHO. One caveat is that the peep toe relegates them to dry days (with tights in fall/winter). My pair is one of my favorite pairs.

Here's a link to the outfits I've worn them with:

I have the similar Melanie style and they are the heels I can wear most comfortably. I have 37 and they are a bit big, so I would go to your smaller size on these. I just wore them yesterday!

I don't think that it is silly to buy an occasional item out of season as long as it is consistant with your core style. Things that are more experimental in nature may be better worn right away.

They look so fab. I had wondered about the peep toe for our climate...I never really like peep toes with hose and we pretty much need hose for most of the cooler months....

Anna & Angie - thanks so much for chiming in.

Hmmm....now I need to think about the sizing. I wear a 6.5 or EU36.5. The ones I'm looking at are EU37 (or size 7). You think they might be too long Angie?

Yes. This made my top picks list a few years ago. VERY comfy.

Should be fine on a wider foot. But don't go up a size. Your toes won't peep.

Thanks for your input pil - I remember when you won those gorgeous boots!

I did notice in a couple of the reviews for the Jessie boots, that it was recommended you go up half a size, which the pair I've found is. I wonder if that would accommodate the width? More thinking.

Shannon, I have the Anyi Lu boots that I won last year. They are beautiful and very light weight. I find they run TYS lengthwise, but the width is slightly snug on my high volume feet.

Have any of you seen this bootie in real life? http://www.amazon.com/Anyi-Lu-.....7&

Believe it or not, I'm already tucking some dollars away for fall/winter. My wardrobe is complete for summer and I don't plan on purchasing anything further for this season (although I am looking at a black leather vest, which would be for late summer/fall). Fall/winter is by far my dominant season. I believe Angie linked to these peep toe booties this past winter and I loved them then - but they are not within my budget at $425. However, I found an eBay seller who has a brand new pair in my size for a heftily (is that a word?) discounted price, with full refund policy.

But there are two questions:

1. I've never tried Anyi Lu footwear before. The reviews are always fabulously positive in terms of comfort, but how do they tend to fit? TTS? Wearable on a normal width-bordering wider foot? I've done more sleuthing and although the heels are 2.5 inches (a wee bit over comfort level for me), they have a small platform inside so the true the heel is 2.25.

2. Is it silly to purchase something now not intending to wear it just yet? I could start wearing these in September when the heat of summer breaks and then with black tights in the colder months.

Just pondering and would love your thoughts...
