Makes you think about the Dior New Look photos... you don't necessarily look at them and think about the context and the time frame... but the truth is, the War is raw memory. Can't imagine what it was like to produce a collection under those conditions. I really should watch more TV. We basically didn't when I was a kid, except sometimes my parents watched Masterpiece Theatre after I was asleep. I'd sneak down the stairs and watch through the bannister.
