My scarves are in a drawer. I grab them in the middle, and wrap them quickly around my hand so that I have a little spiral of scarf. They all fit next to eachother, it's quick, and I can see everything. I looks like this, but without the divider: http://www.asimplesolution2org.....2412844969

I just store my bras "standing up" in a row. Panties are in a stack, and after I do laundry I put the newly cleaned ones on the bottom. I just take from the top of the stack (or a couple away from the top) everyday so that they all get worn equally.

Another devotee of the wooden hangers with slots for scarves, ties etc. I have one for necklaces and another for scarves, and I don't know how I functioned before. The ones I got were very affordable, too, about $8.

I really like the wooden hanger that is horizontal, everytime I try a vertical option I can't find all the scarves piled onto each other, thanks!

Drawer dividers changed my life! The sections can still get a little messy but you can separate any way you want (color, dressy vs. casual, etc.).

For both undies and scarves I have them neatly rolled and in rows in drawers. If I roll them carefully they don't seem to wrinkle much and I can see everything at a glance. I can also get alot in a fairly shallow drawer.

This sounds kinda silly, but I use a coat rack above my dresser to hang my scarves. It was cheap and it's inspiring to me to see all those lovely colors first thing in the morning!

I have my silk scarves on a tie rack of sorts, and my more substantial scarves on a scarf rack that hangs on the back of the door. I'm thinking of getting some clear plastic bins for the silk scarves though, they get worn less often and I want to protect them from dust.

I have a plan for my scarves but haven't gotten around to it. I plan on installing a towel rack in my closet that I will add the cheap plastic rings designed for a shower curtain. Essentially it will be a bar with dozens of rings I can pull my scarves through. That way I can easily see them all. I got the idea from the container store.

The section on the bottom right has tips. One says "Manage those beautiful Scarves"

Oh Antje, why haven't I thought of that? I have the same thingie, and I agree it's pretty handy, except for the fact that you don't see all your scarves when they're hanging 'sideways'. I'm going to get a nail and a hammer tomorrow and fix this, thanks!

For my scarves, I have this IKEA product: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/cata.....s/70108912

It's been a pretty good solution for me. I actually put the hanger on a nail in the wall in my closet, rather than on the rack - this way I can see the scarves much better. It gets a bit full at times when I have too many scarves, and sometimes one slips off when I'm picking one out, but overall it's the best scarf solution I've had. The nice thing is that it fits a great variety of scarves - both very thin skinny ones, and bulkier ones (which would probably not fit onto the scarf hangers with the 10 smallish holes that seem more commonly advertised.)

I hang my "in season" scarves on men's tie holders in color groups (those multi arm Tshaped ones) and let them drape down the side of my armoire. Right now I'm featuring woolens and a few go-with-anything silks. I don't wear a lot of colorful clothes, so having the more colorful scarves out and about reminds me to add a pop of color at the very end of putting myself together. When the season passes, I re-edit my choices then hand wash and store the out of season options away from light and dust in a hat box until their time comes again.

I keep my everyday lingerie in two large, flat baskets tucked into the shelves of a rustic pine olive oil display stand I bought at a tag sale. Bras, panties and foundation garments get rolled and tucked into one basket; socks and tights are rolled and tucked into the second. Both baskets have cotton liners to avoid any snags, and I can easily see every item when I pull out that particular basket. Sexier lingerie is stored in a large hatbox up in my husband's side of the closet because he's the one who reminds me to actually wear it!

We don't have a walk-in closet or a conventional chest of drawers. We have open shelving down the middle of our shared, single pole closet, a generously scaled antique armoire with more shelves, and a few smaller pieces of open shelving, so I have gotten used to living with bits of clothing storage worked in here and there around our room. I don't mind so long as everything has a place to be put away, is stored attractively, and can be easily found when needed.

I keep scarves folded and stored in the drawer in the organza bags, you can get them cheaply off ebay.
I store my jewelry like that too as I don't have adequate hanging space / solution. It's then easy to look through them as I can easily see the content, and they don't get entangled or scratch each other.

Lingerie is another story, all crammed in the drawer, and I'm looking fwd to the ideas here.
(Now that I think about it, perhaps larger size organza bags for the lingerie would at least take care of part of the issue.)

I have a scarf drawer and a lingerie drawer; they are both just a free-for-all, right now, and I am tired of rooting through them (and I can't see my scarves all at once, which I think would be helpful). All the links I find on the internet suggest hanging in your closet, but my closet space situation is not fantastic--plus things are not very visible in my closet--so I'm wondering if anyone has better ideas. I saw these little drawer dividers once intended for lingerie--I might buy one for my scarf drawer too. But maybe someone has a better solution?
