My mom simply refused to buy us expensive clothes. She would buy clothes extra big so we could wear them longer and we would go to school with the waists cinched up like paper bags and jeans cuffed when it wasn't the cool thing to do. And my poor sister got stuck with hand-me-downs that I wore five years earlier, and were always completely out of style by the time she fit into them. We looked pretty bad the whole time through school.

I got my first pair of Guess jeans when I started waitressing at 16. From that point forward, I pretty much bought all my and my sister's clothing ... Mom stopped buying clothes completely. Sis was 5'9 at 13 and only slightly slimmer than I was (we were often mistaken for twins), so we shared all my clothes. And I didn't mind either because otherwise she didn't have anything to wear and I had great empathy there. The only problem was that colored jeans faded fast and slouchy socks stretched out when worn twice as often by two teenage girls!

I don't want to follow in my mother's footsteps, but gosh it is expensive buying a whole new set of clothes & shoes each season for a girl and a boy. Mine are growing so fast, that a pair of jeans may be too short within a couple months.

I haven't heard of Justice.
When my daughter was 6 she refused to wear the kids clothes I bought her, she wanted her own style. When she was in Jr high school she would only wear Guess jeans. Now that she is a mother she shops Target. Funny how that works.

I don't have kids, but I have a friend who's older than I am who shops the largest size girls' clothes from Justice.
Ack!

My 11 year old DD is pretty stuck on Justice. She's still developing her style so it's very easy for her to go in that store and put together outfits. I'm trying to get her to branch out to other clothing and brands but haven't had much luck.

My opinion of Justice is very hot and cold. Sometimes I'll go in and see tons of super cute stuff, other times I'm totally turned off by what their current lines look like. Right now, for example, the store is on peace sign overload. I like the look in moderation, but my head starts to spin when I go in there. DD loves it, though. I try never to buy anything at full price from there. There always seems to be a sale.

My daughter loves to look in Justice (she's 10), but we haven't bought anything there yet. It's just too expensive! I'm not spending more on her clothes than I do my own. The clothes there do seem to fit her better than a lot of places, so if we really have fit issues I told her we would go back there. She's got a long torso, and she's right in between the girls and Jr. sizes. The girls clothes that accomodate her long torso are often too big around, but the JR. clothes are too long and skinny.

My daughter turns 6 on Monday and right now she doesn't care where I get her clothes, and has no problem wearing what I lay out, so that's good ... I know it won't last forever. I really am drawn to the more expensive kid's clothing (big surprise) ... Boden, Hanna Anderrson, Hartstrings, etc., but always wait on sales or give catalogs to the grandparents for birthday and Christmas gift ideas. She's just now getting big enough for Justice/Limited Too ... I haven't browsed the store yet. I do find cute clothing from Target, Old Navy, Belk's, & JCPenney's.

eh eh ..my daughter has ten years old and likes Billabong http://www.billabong.com/girls/us/

She only wears skinny jeans, she refuses to wear skirts and dresses (not feminine like the mother).

I don't buy only Billabong because it's expensive, we compromise, most of her clothes are from Zara and each year I buy a coat or a pair of jeans from Billabong.

My daughter will only wear Justice! It is so expensive! We only buy when they are having a 40% off everything sale. We bought so much recently that now we are going back to spend our J Bucks. They sure know how to reel you in don't they? Now for $25 you can join their club which gives you 30% off when there is not a sale going on and an extra 5% on top of any sale they do have. My daughter and I spent 3 hours in there last night! I think I'm becoming obsessed as well! She looked so stinkin' cute in her new dress, knee highs and converse today as she rode off to school on her bike. I should post pictures of my stylish babe! What do you guys think of that store?
