I'm also a C. I like New Balance Tonic Sports Bra (not the same as Crop Top), the standard Champion compression, the Moving Comfort Aurora (which may be discontinued) and an UnderArmor which is discontinued (it was the reversible one). If you find any good ones, do share!

I'm another huge fan of the Freya sports bra. I have both the underwire and non-underwire styles; I have a slight preference for the underwired version, but really both are great for support and minimising bounce. Plus there's a good range of colours too.

Beth, this is a topic dear to my heart (haha, literally).. i am a distance runner (and size 32 F or 34 DD) and I wear the shock absorber posted by dashrashi above and I also have the freya sports bra. Both are great for me in my very high impact sport and I have tried a lot of other bras.. I used to wear the frog bra (title9) but they discontinued it. I don't like their other bras for high impact activities (for my size, anyway).

I just wanted to add that if you're using it mainly for playing tennis, watch for underwires, especially if they are tall - that could be quite uncomfortable with the side to side movement. I use mine for running mainly, so seam chafing is most important to me, next to a closure that allows me to strip off the sweaty mess easily when I'm done. Helps to use the bra best fit for the activity at hand

If you are looking for something inexpensive, try Champion. I buy them at Target. I wear a C, wear them while running, and have no trouble with bounce. There are probably different styles. I buy the thicker ones, which look more supportive. And they are!

I have one from Shock Absorber but I don't want to recommend it because of the aforementioned sweaty-boob problem.

The absolute best bra I have tried is an Enell and Enell Lite. No bounce at all. But, it comes up high on your chest.

I have been a 32D and a 36D. Either way I vote for the Moving Comfort Fiona. I'm a triathlete, so I ask a lot of my sports bras.
My favorite part? They hook in the back, so no strange contortions trying to get out of a sweaty bra!

The Lululemon Ta-Ta Tamer is good (I've been wearing a 34D but I suspect it's about time to start trying 32Ds). I also have a decent sports bra from Soma, and I've had good luck with the Moving Comfort brand. I'm just about to retire my MC bra that I've been using for 3 years. I hate uniboob/shelf looking bras, so I choose ones with underwire. Title Nine does have a good selection.

I love my Wacoal sports bra. I run every other day and it really holds me together! It does run a little small, though. Usually, I wear a 32C but I wear a 32D in this bra. I highly recommend:

http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/wa.....ltback=193

http://www.herroom.com/shock-a.....-bra.shtml

Here is a shock absorber made specifically for tennis.

The gold standard are Enell bras --- http://www.herroom.com/enell-100-sports-bra.shtml

But if you aren't very large you probably don't need it.

Even at an E cup I find that anything with nice firm compression minimizes bounce to a negligible level for me (I prefer compression because I don't like an underwire because it interferes with the chest strap on my heart rate monitor). Then again, I have fairly firm girls and run light on my feet.

I often use myself and my BFF as examples for bra fit and function. I'm a 30F or 32E and she is a 32G or 32GG. I wear only the Shock Absorber 4490 and recommended it to many F and up friends including my BFF who wears it for zumba class. I can run in this bra and have almost no movement at all. In the larger cup sizes (either DD or E) it has an extra clip in the middle to add firmness to the fit.

I've tried many sports bras and have ended up with 4 of this style in varying colors (coral/black, green/black, black/white) and it is the only one I wear.

I have these:

http://www.barenecessities.com.....=Anita5527
This one is fine, but not great. The chief selling point is that you can machine wash it without fear since it's wireless.

http://www.zappos.com/shock-ab.....n109-white
This one...they really don't move. (Okay, they move a teeny bit. But really, not that much at all.) I had to size way up to make sure I didn't get popping-out bits around the top and sides (I take a 32DDD/F in Chantelle etc and in the Shock Absorber, the best fit was the 32GG. I know. Insane.) The chief downside to this one is that, like the Anita, it doesn't keep things separate, so you get sweaty in your cleavage which is very, very uncomfortable. On the other hand, you can machine-wash it, which is a big win.

http://www.zappos.com/le-myste.....20-heather
This one is probably my favorite. It's not hideous on, it has an underwire, it keeps everything separate, and it is really a bounce-stopper when you cross the back straps. (I sized up a size in this--to a 32G. But I think Le Mystere runs small generally.) The downside to this is washing it. It's an underwire, so you want to handwash it, and it takes forever to dry because of how the cups are lined. My solution was to buy two. Sigh.

They are reversible, and I think that gives double coverage. I see them everywhere...at all different retailers, sports or not.

I like my Nike strength for running - it has actual fasteners in back so you don't have to contort to pull the darn thing off when it's all sweaty lol. Oops, I see it is now discontinued. http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/ni.....ra/2903903 I've heard Shock Absorber brand is good, but never tried it myself. http://www.herroom.com/search2.....71f7bd9c1e
