<p>I agree with Lise, it can be a bit dangerous to write in a language that you do not know !    English is universal nowadays, I think your hosts will understand.&nbsp;

<p>I am not Polish.&nbsp; I live in Bulgaria and sometimes there is a cross over in the language.&nbsp; When I googled Bobas in Polish it kept coming up with Boba, which says Stupid or Dumb.&nbsp; So this is very dangerous ground :).&nbsp; My google came up with Malu or Malenko for little one, but these are gender specific it seems, which ties in with the bulgarian Malko for little (which is neutral gender).&nbsp; Hope someone Polish chimes in.</p>
<p>Here is another one directly from google AI -</p>
<p><div><div><div>"Little one" can be translated into Polish in several ways, depending on the context and gender of the "little one," including maluch (m/f), maluszek (m), malutka (f), maleńka (f), and maleństwo (n, neuter). <div><div><div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div><div>

<p>I’m going to a baby shower - unknown gender - tomorrow and need to write a short inscription in a child’s book. I thought I’d address it to ‘little one’ or ‘baby’ Last Name. So many options online so I don’t want to write something wrong. Like the time I wrote a note to my 10 year old’s host family in France and used the word for sensitive that indicated he had ESP - not what I meant!<br />Would ‘bobas’ be appropriate?<br />Thanks!
