I just checked the label - and they are 97% cotton with 3% spandex. If you have a JC Penney store nearby, might be worth going in person to try them on/investigate the material. I bought a pair in ink blue as well as the black. </p> <p>I won't be wearing them when it's over 100+ degrees out, but they work for me when it's between 65F and 85F.
