I think the problem with this approach is trying to find ones style combining the body type and personality. These are 2 completely separate things. I used to be an image consultant and what I would do was to take measurements and analyze the body type based on the physical attributes, then I had a questionnaire that my clients filled out, which helped me figure out the personality part of it. And, it was always right on, my clients related to it and were very happy. This is the site I'd recommend that you look into. The creator, Carla Mathis is a master in this area, she wrote a book that is being taught in fashion schools (which was one of my courses) it's called
The Triumph of Individual Style

- I believe any of her courses or the book will help you a lot. This is her site:

I'm still confused because different clothes make me look like a complete different body-type. The phone camera fucks up my proportions also.

I'm still afraid I'm a tall Romantic but I also think my shoulders are too straight/broad, my nose too prominent/blunt for and my arms too massive, to be one.
In the picture my bone structure was still pretty undeveloped but I hope you can see what I'm talking about *ignore the cute kitten lol*

Recently, by accident, I took a look at my naked self in the mirror and I was shocked. My body looked like Flamboyant Natural or Soft Dramatic. I saw heavy bone structure and kinda fleshy body but I was so mesmerized with the bone structure that I didn't pay much attention to my flesh It was kinda hourglassy.

Then when I look at myself with clothes on I start to think that I'm crazy for thinking that. But yesterday I was wearing a long, tight, beige tank top with tip straps and straight neckline. Again I saw what I saw in the mirror - heavy and straight bones. They shoulders may have looked like that because of the thin straps.

Sorry for the long comment lol

I enjoy these kibbe discussions though I find it difficult to diagnosis others. I self-diagnosed myself as soft natural, which has been working really well and encouraging me to try things that I would never have expected to work, and yet it does perfectly. Learning the differences between soft natural and soft classic has helpes me identify some of the issues in my wardrobe that needed correcting and ezplain why somethings just didn’t work even though it was conventionally flattering (symmetry vs assymetry). I hope the exploration process is as rewarding for you.

"but I find where my top ends is the most important thing- especially if a contrasting colour to my skirt or pants." Yes, that can really spoil the look, as in my first picture lol
And awww thank you

My thoughts are one of the Naturals. I am a lot older (40s) but a similar height and also like relaxed long lines not too much volume. I see myself as a flamboyant natural who likes and suits relaxed looks, long lines, but things that are not too delicate and pretty.

You look like someone who could wear most things- but I find where my top ends is the most important thing- especially if a contrasting colour to my skirt or pants.

You have a lovely shape and colouring.

I think you might be an ethereal ingenue or ethereal natural.

My height is 5'7 - 5'8

Actually, I might know my type and just don't wanna admit it 'cause I'm afraid I might me too soft.

Right now I'm a little bit overweight and it confuses me.
The more weight I loose, the less defined my waist gets.(I only have a defined waist because of my love handles)
I have big back and shoulders. Kinda like a swimmer.
My face is pretty taut.

I also try to find out what type I am by seeing what clothes/lines/silhouettes work for me.
For now, I've noticed relaxed straight lines are great. Unconstructed and rounded silhouettes really don't make me feel/look great.

I'm 16 and probably still growing. Guess It's a factor

Also, I don't know if this can help but when my hair is armpit length it suits me better when it's straight, but when It's longer it looks better wavy/curly.

The first picture of my body is the most recent one, looks like I've lose some weight
