Good to know, Carol, thank you and I agree with you on the band design, and how that can really add support.

elpgal, thank you for the link, and that’s pretty!

You know…. I have the same shape in Jockey—sable brown. I love it. I think it’s the band underneath that helps with support. I can wear it to work, or even to sleep. Very comfortable.

I had a few Cosabella bralettes when I was perkier and liked them a lot. I think Sweet and Curvy was the style name of their small band, large cup style.

I went to the Knix store today and tried a couple of basic styles. I liked the Good to Go style and bought one. Hopefully it works for me. I'm really hard to fit like most women, but it seems promising.

Bonnie, I am so happy you responded and I took a look at the site, as well. I’m going to read the reviews to get a better idea on sizing and then try two different ones. I am one to buy nude and black. Are you looking at the smooth ones or the lace ones? I tried the Neiwai pull-on bra and while it’s comfortable, it doesn’t have a lot of support. I noticed these bras have both back closures, and the pull-on variety, as well.

So glad you asked this question and got the recommendation for Knix. I went to their site and it looks like they will be perfect for me. I found that they have a store near where I'm staying for the Holidays and I plan to drop by.

Letter sizing does not work for me. I need a small band but bigger cup. S orXS band but medium cup. It depends on your build.

You're very welcome, Vicki! I actually didnt' see your reply and edited my reply a bit -- because I felt I was being a bit didactic and persnickety and diditn' want to seem pretentious or anything!! Hope I don't seem weird ha.

I know that Cosabela does do a lot of letter sizing such as S, M, L, etc. And that definitely makes it tougher!! I hope you'll report back and let us know how it goes.

I just ordered a bra in 38G Euro sizing, based upon measurements from the Reddit thread. It sounds utterly ridiculous... lol! So we will see!

Ket, thank you for your information and it’s brilliant. I welcome your ramblings, truly! I love the detail, because you explain how it is to fit. I would agree with you on moving up in cup size , because I think I am a 30 F in Simone Perele, a brand I also really like, but my previous ones had underwire. The difficulty for me was that my choices were only XS, S, etc. and without any knowledge or buying experience, I had not a clue as to whether this would work for me. Cosabella really does have some pretty designs. Appreciated your input!

I haven’t worn Cosabella recently. But I did several years ago. European sizing takes some getting used to and experimentation. Cosabella and Simone Perele were my favorites then. They’re very well made bras. Def worth getting fitted if you feel uncertain or don't like the support and comfort you get from this order. I didn't find my Cosabella day bra super supportive. But back then I had smaller breasts and didn't mind. So your mileage may vary.

It's also possible I simply needed a much larger cup and smaller band.

The main thing I've learned from the Reddit subthread is to make sure the breasts are fully and deeply seated into the cups. More than you think! To achieve this, one usually has to go up several cup sizes, and down a few band sizes, to get enough lift and encapsulation.

That is one thing that wasn't taught to me, even in professional fitting. Wish they hold told me that. It seems to make a huge difference for many women. I actually ordered a new bra size just to see what happens by getting more cup support. They mostly suggest European brands on that subthread--Cosabella too I think?

I recently purchased three bras from Cosabella and had to do a size adjustment exchange. I haven’t worn them yet, but I’m curious to know if any of you have purchased Cosabella bras and what you think of them. My goal was trying to find comfortable bras without underwire that were still supportive. I just discovered from a friend that there is a local store near where I live that does a superb job of fitting undergarments to customers so I may try this small shop. But in the meantime, if you have any feedback on this brand of bras, I would really appreciate it. These are the two bra styles I bought and I have three because I bought one style in two different colors. Thanks for your input if you have some.
