Light lemon yellow with sky blue and neutral grey to ground it.<br /> 2. Turquoise (light) and olive<br /> 3. Watermelon reds with bright blush or light pinks<br /> 4. Light blues with crimson reds<br /> 5. Navy with grey (not really colors)<br /> 6. Fuschia and turquoise<br /> 7. Lavender and peach<br /> 8. Mint green, olive and blush<br /> 9. Any tonal combination of several similar colors and one tiny item of a contrasting color added for fun.<br /> 10. Dark teal, olive and turquoise plus a bit of fuschia</p> <p>My list may be endless. Play with a color wheel, or live with an artist.......<br /> DD once showed me how the color combinations that looked best on me were lower in color contrast than those that worked for her. For example, purple and orange look fabulous on DD. Even though I love the look of those colors together they look awful on me, but I can wear each separately with jeans. Red and pink work better for me because they are closer together on the color wheel. When I try Lavender and peach, it works only a bit better than their richer more intense cousins mentioned above. The contrast is still problematic but the lighter tone helps temper the look enough to make it passable.
