They are brown suede with orange flowers on the side. Rieker is a German (I think - or maybe Austrian) brand and VERY comfortable. I've had these boots for years but don't wear them too often, cause I find them a little hard to match sometimes; the orange throws me off as it's not a color I would wear anywhere but in shoes so I lack creativity in the color combos. I've found, though, that these boots go real nice with teal and dark turquoise, which I just started wearing more, so I think they'll come out more often between now and the end of winter.</p> <p>JewelryGirl: The black jacket (which actually has tiny white dots all over) is from Mac &#38; Jack and I bought it a year ago in a consignment store. I'm real happy with it, it's super versatile and it makes it easy to dress up jeans.</p> <p>Bella, thanks so much for the photo tips. I think I like very much how you integrate interesting accessories (scarfs, pins, earrings, tights) so effortlessly into your outfits. </p> <p>To take better pictures, try the timer option of your camera. Place the camera on the windowsill or a similar flat surface near the window so you are facing the window (and not away from it) when taking your pictures. Timer gives you enough time to step away from the camera. If you have a camera that can take several consecutive pictures, even better. Then you can try several different poses and pick the best one!
